Considering that dreadful muck that they serve up, this is the best news I have heard today !

i quite like chicken KFC, though i have only eaten it on rare occasions.
have you ever tried it? if not how do you know what its like.
Have to agree there, Mikey.

Emmie...yes, I have tried it and it was horrible...far too salty and over spiced. The chicken looked as it had been run over. Regulars on here will know my distaste for this muck.

I do use places like this occasionally. McD makes a wonderful breakfast....those sausage and egg muffins are delicious.

I have a Whopper last week in B.King and that was also very nice.

But KFC was opposite of what I would call good food......as I said...dreadful.
That's the thing about fast food stories, they do tend to repeat on you.
Excellent news for the minimum-wage staff who won't get paid for when the shops are shut...... :o(

Jackhehat...unfortunate I agree, but a triumph for good food all the same.
Please explain 'a triumph for good food', Mikey.
Good point, JTH. I particularly liked the remark, 'We won't compromise on quality'. Laugh? I nearly wet myself. You would think they would just go to the nearest supermarket and buy up all their chickens, if only to retain goodwill, but of course the quality of supermarket chickens would vastly excel that of KFC's usual muck. What is particularly sad is the woman who complains that she has no dinner because KFC are shut!

they could serve crunchy mouse in Colonel Saunders secret recipe of 23 herbs and spices as they once did down here and received a £5k fine.....many years ago.
I remember Greggs being fined for a mouse in a mince pie. Mice must migrate to crap food shops.
Been at least 30 years since I had one..thickshakes were good I remember...

You should follow that up with 'in your opinion' Mikey!
Given the number of people that eat from KFC it can't be that dreadful!
Quite enjoy a chicken twister when on the motorway!
I don't if KFC have cleaned up their act (I haven't used it for years)but I wouldn't rejoice over the news that people have lost their jobs at your my least favourite fast food outlet.
Spath 30 years ago they were not remotely like a milkshake...more like a dessert to eat not drink....
Talbot, loss of jobs was the first thing I thought of.
