you won't be allowed back on AB if you're sane, you know.
Put an ad in your local newsagents, worded just like above.
How about volunteering in a charity shop. The ones near me are always looking for staff. Good fun and you make a lot of friends and meet people.

Eddie I have been voluntering from I was 13 and It doesn't appear to me to work with "old" clothes. Sorry
Wait until after the Christmas hols now, jj.
I would certainly get your health issues fixed first.
Where I live there is always a big demand for people to do private washing and ironing and cleaning jobs.
....oh and a demand for dog walkers/minders.
Given your health issues I suspect you will find it very difficult to find employment.
Certainly an employer will not want to employ someone who can't get up if they fall down or whose arms get sore from typing.
Sorry I think you need to get better before looking for a job.
"Certainly an employer will not want to employ someone who can't get up if they fall down"
i hope that's not true because i am being made redundant in Jan, and i'll be looking fr another job!
bednobs, I believe if I remember correctly you are registered as disabled - JJ is not - infact she hasn't even be to a GP with these recent issues.
Sorry I did not mean to cause offense but an employer will go for someone with less issues.
I think JJ is looking for some self employed work by what jobs she states. Customers will not return to her if she keeps letting them down.
I believe there's also the issue of age. Most employers will take that into consideration...with young to middle age their preference. That's why many older people end up doing voluntary work.
There is no such thing as registered disabled anymore. However, the DDA does apply to me work wise

will wait until I get steady on my feet - all my life even through my working days in the Civil Service - I always wanted to work with hair.

So when I get fit I will start off by washing hair - just love it. And I do think I have a couple of employers who will employee me when I am fit and ready, Perhaps after Xmas.
You have that right JJ, get more sorted then find something that suits you - a New Year a new start, who knows.x
