Napster to iPod

I'm a Napster subscriber and am thinking about getting an iPod. Are the two compatible for downloading the songs that I've already purchased? Or would I have to take out a subscription on iTunes?

I would have thought any mp3 you have purchsed (or downloaded) would go onto an iPod, but if you open up your Napster home page, go to info/shopping and open up 'compatible devices' this might tell you what you need to know.

yes it is compatible, it just saves it to your music folder which can then be transported automatically to itunes that comes with the ipod
