Hi, sorry that this has been asked a few times before, but can anyone please recommend a decent and reliable website for music downloads (preferably including old stuff from 1960s onwards). Just for my pc as I don't have an iPod.

I've paid 24 to use Limewire / 360 - but it refuses to work, constantly saying that my firewall is in place even after I've disabled it...

I can't get allofmp3 / mp3sparks to work as they currently cannot accept credit card payments...

I can't use Napster because they refuse to accept my credit card details, even though they are perfectly correct...

I'm at my wit's end!!! Please help!!!

Limewire free version.
http://www.legalsounds.com

I swapped from allofmp3 to legalsounds about a year ago. It too has a nice little downloader application which means you can order tracks during the say (say at work), then start the downloader when you get home.

It also has a pretty extensive selection of music...comparable to allofmp3.

Good luck.
download azureus.

then go on sites like
torrentspy.com
piratebay.org
btjunkie.org
demonoid.com

search what music your want, download the torrent file, open azureus and put the torrent file in there. then wait for it to download, you can get just about anything,

Thanks, I'll try these.

I had the free version of Limewire last year, but could only find the chargeable one this time - until now!
Hi
I've used www.gomusic.ru a lot after one of my colleagues put me on to it also www.mp3search.ru (more or less the same site!)
Russian sites but had no problems with payments although have to say I was very wary to start with.

Lot of stuff from oldies right up to Top40, average price per album is about $2/1
http://www.kazaa-platinum.com a service that provides users with unlimited access to movie/music files and other media that can be downloaded, or burned onto CD or DVD. Extremely fast downloads.
This product is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I like the Internet again. Speeds are up by 90-95%. Now, Im downloading from the Web in much less than 1/16 the time, which is important in my line of work. The install was flawless and now, so are my downloads. Thanks to Kazaa Platinum. Try it yourself http://www.kazaa-platinum.com
I would like to say, Flickr music is the best free music/movies download library that exist today. Membership is very reasonable, they provide fresh tracks each month and they're more than happy to work with you and help you Set it up on your PC. Unlike other free Music download companies, Flickr music gives you the freedom to re-arrange the music tracks and use them in any way you want. What more could you ask for? http://www.flickrmusic.com is the way to go .
Also try http://www.kazaa-platinum.com or http://www.kazaaplatinum.net
Thanks Kevin.

I tried your link http://www.flickrmusic.com.

Its really amazing. So much to download , at such a little cost.

Unbelievable
I am so delighted with Flickr Music that I'm trying to get my family and friends to join in and have some fun as well.
