Some of us like to have a lot of privacy at home, some are not so fussed about it, some don't seem bothered at all. When you're at home after dark and you have lights on, in which of the following situations would you close your living room curtains?: A. If you are in on your own B. Always. People passing don't know if the house is occupied or not.

Never, I don't even think about it but I think that's partly where I live. hasn't always been so.

I live on the gop floor of a very tall tower block do have all curtains open all the time to take in the great city kitten views, starry skies, sunsets, rainbows and large moons.

depends, ground floor or top floor, front or back? I usually have blinds drawn in rooms facing the street but only close the ones facing the garden in winter, to insulate the room. I don't want strangers looking in at any time.

When it starts getting dark, because the net curtains don't work so well after that.

Nope...nothing. I took down the curtains and never got round to replacing them. I will do...soon.
