A few people have said to stay away from that router...like i said i dont know much about routers so thought i would ask on here.

Oh? I wonder who? If not, then try Netgear - some don't like Belkin (mine is working OK) and others prefer Buffalo. Best to invest in a Broadband magazine or something like PC PRO. There are several internet sites eg.

I use a Netgear DG834G - their support (on the rare occasions I have needed it) has been excellent

It does everything I ask of it AND it came with a free USB or PC Card wireless interface!

It's now been partially superseded by the DG834GT, but unless you really need the extra speed INSIDE your house (it matters not how fast your wireless router is - it's the speed of your internet connection which will limit how fast you can surf) it's probably not worth it.

Take a look at Misco (http://www.misco.co.uk/search/~dg834g~/index.htm), but remember that their displayed prices EXCLUDE VAT
