Today I Bought

Absolutely nothing.
I have however arranged for a company to come out and measure up the conservatory for blinds so it's just as well I didn't spend anything today.
Tomorrow will be an arm and a leg job with a gigantic supermarket shop, plenty of stuff to shove in the new slow cooker I think. Slightly apprehensive about using it for the first time for some reason...

Bella, the book that came with it is useless, three half hearted recipes at the back of the instruction book. Am going to wing it and see what happens.

Three cases of wine (some of their pricier offerings- but still excellent value) from aldi online (incl. free delivery!)....that's it.

Never clean our study barmaid, it adds to the quirkiness. When I say never, I mean not until we both think it looks disgusting, which is pretty much never. I'd need more than a crate of beer..

Trouble is, the beer is counter productive. I thought "hmmm, need a beer to go in there" and the more beer you drink the more you think "**** it".

Update...three cases of wine ordered yesterday from aldi online arrived this morning (by Parcelforce, free delivery)...just 22 hours after ordering.
Very strong cases....I'm very impressed.
