I have just been informed by Virgin that my bill is to increase by £3.49 per month, making the total cost for SuperFibre 50, Talk unlimited for my land line phone, and Broadband, £41.48.
Please could anyone tell me if this is still a good deal or could I do better?
Phone them up and moan. Point out that this is the THIRD increase this year and you think it is unacceptable.
Use a comparison site to find what is available in your area and tell them how much you could save by moving.
If you don't have the Virgin TV included tell them that you object to paying for other customers to watch free sport.
I always complain and get a discount - I will be in a stronger position next year when BT has installed there superfast broadband area in my area. As it is I'm stuck with Virgin because nobody else can give me anything above 2Mbps - I get 200 with Virgin
I empathise with you AOG (for a change!) I just moved houses and despite 18 years loyal service to these twonks they hit me with a 'new installation' charge and then the same price increase they hit you with. Yes, you probably could get a better deal.
I quite like them, though I don't have one. The one next door often comes and rubs himself between my legs. I took this as a sign of affection until I realised he was just getting rid of his fleas.
