flash websites and photoshop

hi i have designed a layout for a website in photoshop. I have knowledge of buildign websites using html but no knowledge of flash. Is it possble to import the image I have build in photoshop and put it into flash or do I have to design the whole thing in flash again. it is a design that would be easier to do in flash and is comproises of a lot of graphics. thanks

You can import images into Flash, yes. But I suspect that as you've done the whole layout you will need to cut that up into little bits like a jig-saw and import them so you can get your content in properly (like cutting it up to use in tables in HTML).

oh i see so if i cut it up and put it in and leave trhe main part in the middle to put in the content that will work. will the image file be smaller importing in all teh images into flash, as this was my main issue cutting it up for flash??
