What Could This Be ? Sony Tv

i have lost the handbook/brochure from my sony 65" bravia android tv.

i have found something belonging to the tv, it has a usb plug with sony written on it, with 2 wires coming out about 3 ft long each and 2 small sticky bits to obviously stick onto somewhere. looks like ear plugs but not earplugs.

what could it be ? what is it for ?

It's an IR Blaster, which enables you to control a set-top device (such as a Sky box) with the TV's remote control:
