ah..Hercules....what a bear he was..
Aye murraymints, but in a Waitrose carrier cos it's awfy pawsh. :-)
well aye !!
I met Hercules years and years ago in Pitlochry. He was well behaved but we had to stand behind a fence in case we hurt him.
he was a legend wolf...shame when he died..
I am not at all certain if bears
can be kept in a city centre flat - but Hercules was pure dead cute.
he had his own house purpose built in his owner's garden
i bet he still sat where he wanted when it came to place settings at dinner

indeed !
I am poor - I don't have a garden.

They were lucky that Hercules was a good tempered bear. I would hate to see the carnage if he was stroppy like my Princess Merlin (aka Slasher).

I am off to bed - if Frankie will let me get a space to sleep in.

night wolf xx
There 's a seminary there and the priests in training there were pretty fierce !

My English master Joe Rhymer came to be principal there
Can you imagine it - going from teaching twelve y olds how to construct a sentence to sort of advanved theology for the popes shock troops ( Jesuits )

and what was it like to be taught English by a roman catholic famous theologian ? OK actually. The priests looked on us as service in a penal battalion to be honest, if anyone behaved badly they were sent to teach us - sort of siberia

yes penal - punishment no dirty puns please you dirty boys !
poor old ercule !

he was in a sugar puffs advert - with his trainer being the 'Dad' in the ad
and the kids looking understandably shocked

The bear's tail was nailed to the floor ( well OK it was restrained )

that was when he escaped and bid for freedom !
involved him jumping overboard and swimming towards an unoccupied scots island ( obviously unplanned escape )
good prog about it
in fact not being a wild thing
he starved
and the difficulty then is that he might go after easy meat ( skool kids )
