No Avatars Showing Up

Ive been tweaking my windows 10 and no I cannot see any avatars. But I have no idea what I have tweaked. Can some kind soul tell me in simple terms what to "untweak" so I can get them back, thank you.

Do you mean there are no icons on your desktop?
Right-click on the desktop, choose View, and put a check by "Show desktop icons"

No nothing is showing up on AB, except a few people have the jellymen!

Not nice is it, it seems all cold and unfriendly without the jolly pictures !

All my icons have gone too.

If I right click, nothing happens.

If I left click, the whole desktop gets covered by all the stupid Apps that used to be in the start menu.

It's really getting on my nerves.
