Can anyone please tell me how I can uninstall Norton from my PC please ?

I'm using XP and the option to uninstall does not appear on the add/remove programmes in control panel.

Thanks in advance.

Could be found under Symantec as they make Norton.

Thanks Ninja and Commoner.

There is a full removal program for the symantec web site. It will removal all the registry settings ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_registry ) and files. You do not specify if you have the security or the virus package.

Case Solved.

Norton is usually uninstalled by inserting the original Install CD in your PC and selecting the Uninstall option when presented with a choice.
Robbiesos :- you are welcome.
dodgyshirt :- sometimes norton goes AWOL and you cannot remove or even install it again using that method.
