Maybe. May even be battery replacement supplies out there on the market. But won't it look odd having a lead from a mains socket up the wall to your clock ? Suspect that you might change your mind soon after trying it.
Use rechargeable batteries, then you won't have to keep buying them.
How often do you replace your batteries??
We've 2 wall clocks and I reckon they last well over 12 months.
As Tilly suggests, try using rechargeable batteries, but go for one with a high mAh. The higher the mAh, the longer the battery will last, so you won't need to remove them (so you can recharge them) as often as one with a lower mAh.
pack of 12 in pound shops and they last over 12 months easy in all are clocks
how much are those ivor?
They used to make mechanical clocks that didn't need batteries. I wonder can you still buy them?
Strange because my wall clock batteries last for years....and the clocks are radio-controlled (so use a bit more power).
Actually, using rechargeables in a clock isn't a good idea....they are better at medium/high drain devices for a shorter time and not very low drain devices for a very long time. Also, rechargeables in a clock won't last as long as good quality alkalines. Not to mention the economics of rechargeable vs alkaline...a very pricey clock battery!
B00,very droll...

Actually Old Geezer, there's a clock connector behind the battery clock (which I foolishly allowed to replace a dependable mains variety)
Just want reliable technical advice, not a different variety of battery.MAINS PLEASE
Can't say I've tried it myself but maybe this would work with a standard power supply, from Maplins or some similar store ?
