We have spilt a small glass of Southern Comfort on our laptop. We cleaned it off as quickly as we could and removed the battery . This morning the laptop will not come on at all. Could it have shorted and if so is it easy to repair. It is, alas, a newish laptop!

I think you should dissemble your laptop by which liquid get dry and turn your laptop down side for few minutes. If there is any problem or not working well then you should go at respective service station.
