Below that: 'Files currently on the disc (10)' and the names of the 10 albums.

Well a CD can't have 10 albums recorded as music on it as there wouldn't be room as the maximum length of music you can fit on a CD is something like 70 minutes. Perhaps you have them as MP3s on the CD, in which case you don't rip them to iTunes but import them using the 'file' 'import' option.
