What Browser are you using ?. It my guess that it could be Internet Explorer. If it is then Get a decent Browser such as Firefox.

My son installed Adblock on my laptop which has stopped all those pesky ads. It's brilliant. I'm sure someone who is more computer savvy than me will give you a link.
