Bit of info about the prob for other readershttp://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/apr/08/heartbleed-bug-puts-encryption-at-risk-for-hundreds-of-thousands-of-servers
I got an email from Google yesterday saying there had been a suspicious sign in by someone in India into my daughters gmail account, they stopped it but she's been advised to change her password. I wonder if this is to do with this Heartbleed Bug, guess I really have to change my passwords now but it's such a bloody hassle.

Internet sites that have been touched in any way by the bug will have to apply a 'patch' to make their security safe. Until a 'patch' is applied it is pointless changing passwords because it appears that the new passwords would be at risk, as if they had never been changed.

I think that folk should sit tight for a few more days before rushing to do anything; unless advised to do so by the sites concerned.

Hans.
