The ones that pop up in the middle of the page...often warning me that my apps need updating...or that my device is running out of memory...plus more nonsense. Several popped up as I was typing this.
I wonder if humbersloop is also getting them again.

It only happens when I've got AB open. I can be on another tab,and suddenly one of these things comes up...and I'm looking at an AB window....aarrgghh!

I was huddled under the duvet earlier playing with my Kindle and the warning thing kept kicking in and throwing me out of the browsery thingy.

It has stopped but was mighty annoying when it happened.

I am back on the PC and it hasn't happened - yet.
mobogenie and lovelinks this morning, to the point it's impossible to use the site with the nexus

They're slippery ones...

... Do they look the same? Screenshots always welcome and I'll go peruse the advertiser review systems to see if I can spot anything.

Methyl. It's a problem on android tablets, much of your advice isn't much use to Pasta et al.
yes they do here Ed, just a grey box

if someone tells me how to do a screenshot on a nexus, happily send it on
"Take a screenshot

You can easily take a screenshot on your device that you can save in your Gallery or share with others:

Make sure that the image you want to capture is displayed on the screen.
Press the Power and Volume down buttons simultaneously.
The screenshot is automatically saved in your Gallery."
Also, if you could let me know the url of where the ads take you (through email is best) - that would be great.
ok, thanks
I am attempting to hunt them down though - I'm not just relying on you lot :)

Do the ads look like flash adverts, or images, or video, or what? Before they take you off and away I mean? We might be able to block them short term based on the ad-type.

I've not had any-yet-this morning.
They are quite light grey/blueish boxes, and probably take up about a third of the page. Not a lot of wording on them...lots of !!! to grab attention.
I seem to get them more in the later part of the day.
I have malwarebytes...it has never detected any problems.
There's a hierarchy of ads on AB Pasta - so you'll get lower quality ones later in the day/session (we assume the ones paying us the most are of some quality!)
Question Author
I'm not sure I should be calling them ads...at least not the current batch. They are more like shouty warnings, harbingers of doom re my PC that make me want to get rid of them asap. ....and I don't have a PC.
