Hi I am after a cheap tripod that has wheels on the legs. I found one on ebay for 990 but it was more a crane then a tripod. I am sure there must be such a thing that is not much more expensive then a normal tripod as it is only wheels that are added. I have doen a search on found one site in the US but they are out of stock for the next 2 months. Any other ideas. thanks

The official name for the wheels on a tripod is a "dolly".

Check out this site - http://www.b-hague.co.uk/Pro-Dolly%20D2.htm

or search google for names such as Manfrotto, Libec, Vinten, who manufacture such things.  Be aware however, that since dollies are usually only used on reasonably professional equipment, you can expect to pay a fair bit for one!  How much you spend depends an awful lot on why you want it!
