I started to write 'Blanch Parsnips', I got as far as Blanch Par and the iPad offered me 'Blanch Parishioners'!

Seems a little harsh to me.

JNO, I've seen some of those pop up on FB. There is a brilliant one between a father and son that goes horribly awry, much to the horror of the son.

Waiting for Mum's priest to phone....not expecting the grumpy old sod would I was amazed to get a call....so amazed I sent the following text to the family....

The Priest has sinned at last!! You can imagine some of the replies I got back.....☺

the one who was so rude to me died a long and lingering death starting a few months after that. for a priest he died alone - no one was sitting with him.
