Can someone please tell me how to put the taskbar (with Start on it) back to the bottom of my screen on Win xp. thought it was something easy like up and down arrows but can't seem to budge it, many thanks.

On Windows 7 if you right-click on the taskbar you get a menu which asks you where you want it.

I know nothing about Windows XP but a click onto this may help you :-

I feel sure that if you just click and hold on the taskbar and move your mouse to the bottom of your screen and then release, the task bar will be where it was originally.

I suggest, if you succeed in moving the taskbar, you then right click on it and click 'lock taskbar' to ensure that it cannot be accidentally re-positioned.
