Computer games

Hi,

I've just bought a PC for the first time and I'm looking to buy the sort of game where you can build up a world or an empire/civilisation etc. I'm not too bothered about being that up to date, because I just want to pick up something on the cheap, so can someone reccommend something that has come out in the last few years that's really excellent?

Yes ive got the perfect game, its called shogun: total war. Its about Japan in the samuri days and you have to build an empire to rule over Japan. It cost about �5 where I got it becuase it was on sale but its really good.

Thanks Crop. Just looked for it on Amazon and found it brand new for �2, so got to be worth a look. Other reviewers seemed to agree, so it's winging it's way to me in the post

Great Supernick, its also able to play online, maybe i'll see you on there sometime.

Comand and Conqure, its great and addictive, you have to build in multiplayer - skirmish mode, you build up your army base to destroy the other army base built by the computer
