Maybe others will disagree but I think you'll need to be much more specific about what you need from the website.

Is it just a permanent online advert (prompting people to phone/visit you and give you business) or do you need it to take sales?
Also, are you asking other technical questions about where to get the name :
willowman.co.uk
and where to host the pages of your site?

Try WebStudio 4 its brilliant just drag and drop easy to use and best of all its free to try for a month

http://www.webstudio.com/

If you want a Domain name try Easily.co.uk every cheap 10 for two years for co,uk Their service is brilliant very helpful if you need them But you can do everything form their web site

Sorry, should have been more specific.

I have domain name set up, and a customer has built a single page site for me.

I want to produce a website of about 6 pages, just to advertise the business. I don't want to take advantage of said customer, so would like to have a go at producing something myself. PCWorld sell packages, but being a novice I don't know which would be suitable.

Thanks for any help.

If you don't mind something fairly basic, try Ewisoft. If you don't mind their (small) credit, it's free - or fairly cheap if you want to remove the "created with": http://www.ewisoft.com/

Example: http://www.hightown.southampton.sch.uk/school/p1.htm (this could be a lot fancier, but I didn't have the time to do a complete redesign and basically transposed the old version of the site to the Ewisoft template).

Or for a few quid/month at http://order.1and1.co.uk/ you can get another template-based site (like this one: http://www.chaosuk.net ).

Macromedia's Dreamweaver is the most common WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) package I've come across that is used by professional web people.

Try www.tucows.com this site has tons of software for building web pages and lots more besides. Because you will need a counter web stats and I could go on but I dont want to give you too much at once. Read tucows advice its usually pritty good....
