Locked your keys in the car, spare keys at home? Phone home on their mobile, hold your phone about a foot from the car door, get person at home press unlock button near to their mobile, car will unlock saving someone having to drive maybe hundreds of miles to rescue you.

Really? That's brilliant!
Nice one Caran, you are full of wonderfull information tonight. Lol
I'm waiting for the next one. X
I thought that was too good to be true:(
One which does work, but is more fun than useful, is to see how much further you can activate your car's remote lock/ unlock by pointing the key fob at your head.
With your mouth open and point it at the car I believe Jim?
No need for the mouth open. It seems to work for me, though I haven't tested it fully.
I've seen it used for finding a lost car in a big car park - listen for the clack of the central locking and walk towards it.
You lot are walking around with your mouths open, pointing key fobs at your head to get the car door open and you think I'm odd with my dowsing rods!
;-) x
...

I wasn't going to say anything about that! Exhausted after arguing about it for so long. Can't win that fight, methinks.
No fight to win or lose, Jim....and easy to do to satisfy any curiosity....x
I'm too tired right now to be curious one way or another!
It's utter nonsense.
What is?
Then off to bed and sleep well....and stay curious. Makes for interesting people....x
If you insist... night gness!
Night, Jim....x
If it's a central lockingwith a key , then you cannot have locked the keys in the car in the first place.
