i saw a film once  where a toy come to life and became the yawning man and put , and im not sure on this, tom thumb to sleep..  i almost fell asleep watching it......   is there any one who knows this song title and who sung it

the song from the film was called the "yawning song" and was sung in the film by Stan Freberg.

i think the original was sung by Danny Kyle.

Actually, my parents have the VHS version of the 1958 movie with Russ Tamblyn (Tom Thumb) and Stan Freberg (Yawning Man)... The lyrics as I recall them are below...
