My 12 month Broadband/Phone contract with XXXXXX is now over and i intend to move to another supplier to get a better bundle. Do these companies charge a termination fee even though my contract is over. Thanks.

you probably need to give 30 days notice
No termination fee if contract period's over. But - depending on the date you leave, and the due payment date, it's not unknown for them to take another month's money even though there's no reason why they should.
^ Had that happen to me before. If you're sure you've made your last due payment, cancel the Direct Debit immediately.
My friends were with Talk Talk and they had to pay £30 when they left them to join sky. I would ask first just to be safe or you could have an extra bill on your doorstep.
