O.K Ok! I know that it is illegal to receive SkY TV out of the UK.

But.....there is a rumour that Sky is intending to abolish the North and South beams with one "pencil" beam focused on the UK.
This would mean that the "footprint" would be so narrow that people on the continent for example would only be able to receive SkyTV with a 2.4 metre dish and subscribers would unsubscribe in their tens of thousands.

Any information?
