How's the signal strength?
I've taken the battery out at times which has helped, maybe just a coincidence though.

Out of range, out of credit, slipped SIM card: take it out and put it back in.

many thanks. took the back off said a wee prayer to the battery :) a miracle!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could be dirty SIM contacts. Glad it's come back, but it may be worth wiping the SIM on your sleeve to clean it next time.

we can use mobile phone to talk with our friends and families.
