Who knows the name. Two ways to print an email - Print Screen (this gives a photograph of the email itself) or click 'Print' on the email gives a printout of the text message in the email - it is not the email itself - this basic print is sometimes called a 'Composite' printout. Has any one heard of any other name for this basic printout of email text.

There's a third way where you right click print before opening the email and this gives you the headers as well as the email body. Certain email readers will let you print the email in raw form without interpreting any embedded content such as attachments. This is known as "Print Source". Afaik. None of the basic print formats have a special name. The...

Thanks Methyl, and yes R U Correct about the other print option - I should have mentioned that. I will go with Print Source and interchange with my Composite. I can't see selection for 'Mark as best answer' so hope this note rewards you. Chow, tone-123
