Lg Optimus L3

I have today received my new lg optimus l3 mobile phone, my previous phone was a nokia 6700 slide. When I had the nokia I had some passwords and stuff saved in the notes application and they were saved on the memory card. I have put the memory card into the lg but cannot find the notes anywhere. Does anyone know where they might be? Also when I open the phonebook all my contacts are in there twice, because they were in the sim card and the memory card. Does anyone know how I can get it to show just one copy of each contact in the list? It doesn't seem to say how to do it anywhere in the manual

Maybe you are not accessing the memory card correctly. There are some free Android File Manager apps available that might help, listed here:
