I want to open two images and use the clone tool. However when I try and open the second image, it just goes over the top of the first one and I can't see it or access it anymore! Any ideas how I can get both alongside each other?

In Photoshop Elements 8 (that's all I have but would be surprised if it's different in the full package) each image is opened its own window. There are the usual 3 buttons in the top right corner and if you click on the middle button for both so that the windows are not fullsize then their sizes can adjusted manually, or the Windows menu allows other options such as tiling.
