Boot won't open

When I pull the leaver inside the car nothing happens and have to resort using my key to open the boot, Can it be fixed?

When your boot is open, get someone to operate the lever while you watch the catch mechanism. If it moves it isn't broken and just needs lubrication and or adjustment. If it doesn't move it might still only need lubrication. If the cable is broken it will feel slacker than when it worked normally.

Yep, probably the cable has snapped or stretched, if stretched the you should be able to adjust it to take up the slack.

Either were it connects to the lever or where it connects to the boot latch.
Either at the lever end or at the boot catch.

What car is it? This is going to be the cable that connects the lever to the boot catch but unless we know the type/model of car we can not help further.
