Just had a new computer installed but the guy has gone. I have discovered that I cannot use the numerals to the right side of the keyboard and have to use the numerals along the top ie above the qwertyuiop line. Can I get the use of the other ones back?

Look for a key which reads "Num Lock"
It'll be the numlock and you need to turn it on.

Can you see a key above the right hand numbers called numlock? If so press it and then try the numbers.
(And press it! Usually a small light comes on the keyboard to let you know that the number pad is locked to "number mode" rather than its other functions)

Thanks, I should have known that! I feel totally frazzled with all this new stuff.
Now make a cup of tea .... it always helps :-)
