Hi

I have found a website called 'Handbrake' to download software to enable me to convert my DVD's into a format to put on my IPAD.

I am using my laptop which runs on windows 7. I notice on the handbrake website that it has 2 options for download. 32 bit or 64 bit.
Does it matter which one i choose to download?

Also, will I need to download VLC player or not?

I am a complete noob with this sort of thing so please bare with

thanks

Right click on the computer icon on the start menu and select properties and under system type it will say 32bit or 64bit, pick the version that matches.

You shouldn't need VLC to rip the DVD's for the Ipad, it might help if you want to play them on the laptop.
