Hello everyone,

I have a two page document and page 1 has to be portrait and the second page has to be landscape. I am able to change it to landscape but when I do, it creates blank document pages.

Your heading and question do not seem related. Are you trying to delete Microsoft Word pages?
Sounds like you have blank lines at the end of the document.
I am no expert, but my suggestion would be to have each page as a separate document.
I think you need to create a separate section for each page layout.
This is a formatting issue, usually easy to fix but without seeing the doc its hard to say exactly.
And it on what formatting the doc currently has
Where is it adding blank pages and how many is it adding.

tun on "Show all non printing characters" that will help to see what formatting has been applied
If its adding them at the end, then try going to the very end of the text on the landscape page and keep pressing delete to see if that gets rid of the extra pages
I just tested this in Word 2007, and it seems that if you choose to change the orientation "from this point forward" Word adds a new page with the new orientation. So, say you want page 1 as Portrait, and page 2 as landscape, instead of doing the logical thing (create page two, and with it selected, change the orientation) remain on page one, change the orientation "from this point forward" and it will create page two as landscape.
I think you probably have to treat this as 2 separate documents, the first portrait and the second landscape, unless you can reorientate the text/pictures etc.

sorry for multi posts but internet is playing is playing up.

@Hopkirk

You dont need separate docs for the pages, I produce a 25 page newsletter every week and some weeks I have mixed orientation pages and different size pages, you just have to format it correctly with the correct section breaks and page breaks.

Word will produce some pretty impressive docs if you know what youre doing with it
Click at the very end of the blank pages to determine where the end of the document is, then press the backspace key. This will get rid of possible blank lines that created the blank pages.
