iPhone/Freeview Plus Box

Does anyone know if I can connect my iPhone to my Freeview Plus box and somehow play programs from the iPhone through the box to the TV? (or even directly through the TV? There are USB ports on my Freeview plus box which is making me wonder if this is possible?
