If I want the num lock to be on when I start up my computer - how do I do it - and how do I stop my kids from keep changing it back?

as long as it is on when u shut-down it should be on when u start -up

There used to be a bios setting - power on numlock - I believe it is still there.

Mattk is right - it is a setting in the BIOS in all versions of PC I have seen.

Are you familiar ith BIOS settings and how to get into them to change ?
