I often have to print off a few identical copies so feed in the number of copies I need. Sometimes but very often I end up with part of a copy on one page and the rest on another which means both pages are no good and it's a complete waste of paper and ink. Apart from feeding in each page as it's printing what else can I do?
Printer is HP PSC 1510

First things first: have you set the machine to do its standard self-test and head-cleaning operations, or whatever the equivalents are for this particular device?
It's a good idea to "fan" the paper when you've taken it out of the packet and then square up the stack before you put it in the printer. This frees any sheets that might be stck together.

Following on from above, are you sure you are using the appropriate weight of paper for the printer? Using sheets that are too thick can cause transport problems.

When I change the ink cartridge I scan the page the printer kicks out; is this what you mean ?
The sheets are counted in one by one so they are definitely not stuck.
I use 90g paper surely that isn't too thick...
