How can I share everything on my ipod onto my friend laptop without wiping all the contents of it. It has itunes on the PC but nothing in it yet?

The only way is to share your iTunes account too which of course is not a practical solution.

The digital rights managment is designed to stop illegal sharing of content.

^ Not strictly true: there is plenty of 3rd party software available (Google search it) that will allow you to copy the tracks off an iPod on to another computer.
