Recovering photos from ipad

My Ipad recently shut down on me and wont start back up. When i try to, it just plays a loop of the apple logo you see at the beggining. I havent recently synced the Ipad, and can only use it again if i restore it. Is there anyway i can recover the photos on my Ipad without losing them through restoration, i have important ones on there!

Go into settings and you can reset without losing anything from your I pad, I have to do this on a regular basis, usually after the grand kids have been playing on it.

Sorry which settings? I cant access the ipad at the moment so is it on itunes?

Have you tried resetting it by holding down the power button and the home button at the same time until the Apple logo comes up. Unless you have enabled photo stream you're going to be out of luck recovering the pictures I'm afraid if you restore via iTunes.

If your I pad is linked to your comp, then you should be able to access the settings.

I do have the iPad 2 which I understand is different from the one, and I always stream.
