Wifi

I am with Orange and have broadband using speedtouch330 connection and if I want now to go wifi how do I do this. What do I need and is it easy to do or will I need an expert in to fix it

I have been with Orange for years ...started as freeserve and in fact my email adress is still a freeserve one.....when I got this laptop and wanted wifi I contacted Orange and they sent me a ROUTER/MODEM free of charge...I connected it up to replace my old speed touch to my PC with an ethernet cable and added the laptop wirelessly to the network...the full instructions came with it and went perfectly.....never dropped a connection since......try that route if you like.......quite simple.

That is the same road as I went and I also have a freeserve address --orange via wanadoo so I will now contact orange for the new modem and now hope it goes as well as yours. Thanks a million for that

Ok then good luck with that ..I love the wifi....can use it with my smartphone and with my ipod touch.......I have my HP printer wireless too.
