No. Given that the unit is smaller than a cd, how would you load it? I'm sure that they'll release all the top stuff on PSP but you'll have to buy them again.

psp will play games that are available for ps2 but only if they have been converted and transferred to the umd discs that it uses.

Yes but on special discs.
I had a go at my mates PSP and the Ridge Racer game is an exact copy of the PS2 Game.
