I am a 'silver-sufer' with little knowledge. I have a hotmail e-mail address and when I send e-mails to several people, all the e-mail addresses are shown on each e-mail. My friend said you can send e-mails which do not show all the other addresses, but I don't know how.
Any help would be appreciated.

When you create a new email on Hotmail, there's a button near the top right of the screen which says "Show CC & BCC". Click this, and then enter all of your recipients in the BCC box. This stands for "blind carbon copy", and none of the recipients will know who else you've sent it to.
As well as the from: and to: boxes there is usually a courtesy copy CC: and a blind courtesy copy BCC: box. Those entered in the BCC box cannot be seen by the other recipients
You can put all the recipents' addresses into the bcc box and just put your own in the To box so no-one sees any other receipents
