Basically... No.

It's not officially possible, there are hacks that report to let you do it but they all require you to install non-standard software and there are rumours that it may damage the drive because it was never designed to play DVDs

Just buy a £15 DVD player.

Other way is to use a software converter, and play the converted dvd from an SD card.
Cheap dvd player!
