Is there any way to send a message to everyone with a particular name? What I mean is - say I want to find someone called 'Tony Keyworth' - (and I can't find him by squinting at thumbnail pics on Facebook) - I really need a facility that will send out a message to every website (Linked-in/Friends Reunited/MySpace/Facebook etc etc) and every email that contains all variants of that name. There's no way I'm going to trawl through everyone that comes up in a Google search with a name. So, like a central portal that sends a message to every address recorded with one particular name? Then, if they want to, they can reply. This would be a great way to locate people you've lost contact with but I cannot find any website that provides such a facility.

If he has a Friends Reunited profile and you know which school he went to (and roughly the years he was there ) then you will be well on the way to tracking him down (You need to be an FR member to use the site) .
Are you a spammer?
I doubt you will ever find such a facility. As Albags says, it would be perfect for spammers, and annoying to those who wanted to remain anonymous. There are so many providers of email addresses that it would be impossible to coordinate and keep up to date.
You sound like spam to me Barquentine. I wouldn't be impressed if I kept getting idiots around the world emailing me to ask if I know them.

As for 'Tony Keyworth', if he hasn't already been on here asking whether a group social networking emailing facility is possible, then I suspect he isn't interested in finding you.

Ha ha. No I'm not a spammer. I see your point though. I get loads of junk email. I just thought it could be useful to find missing people. Aquariel is right though - you could never keep up with all the alternative emails. I wonder whatever happened to Keyworth though!!
