"I find the constant advertising of the product just prior to launch deplorable."
I'm not an iPhone owner or Apple fan, but exactly what is wrong with constant advertising of an upcoming product? Isn't it standard practice in a lot of industries? A new film comes out and there's loads of adverts for it. A new car comes out and there's loads of adverts for it. So if a new iPhone comes out, what's wrong with there being loads of adverts for it?
Would you rather they advertise it heavily in say a year's time, so they can shift their old unwanted stock on unsuspecting buyers just prior to releasing the iPhone 5? Cus I think that would be worse...
