Can anyone help me please.

The numbers at the top of my keyboard have decided to misbehave.

The following list should be 1 to 0

1
2
83
54
54
76
76
83
9
0

All very strange. I have to use the Numbers on the right now.

Any idea how I can fix this??????

Thanks.Claire.x

Check that your keyboard is still set for UK.
Because numbers are different in differing regions?

Substitute with another keyboard first.
Is it PSII, USB or wireless to USB?

How do i do that??? The new problem also is when im trying to put spaces in this text, my search bar keeps bringing up my history and the cursor vanishes from this text and i need to keep using the mouse to bring the cursor back into this box to type the next word. My teenage son has just told me that earlier this evening, my wee boy (19months) was at the PC and had brought a load of different settings boxes etc onto the screen. This has taken ages to type.
What keyboard is it? Logitech or Microsoft? programmable keys?
Look in the Programs for a settings tab for this make/keyboard.
If cannot find, go into Control Panel/Keyboard .. and see if there is an advanced tab for your particular keyboard.

its a Dell Keyboard.x
Look inside all the Dell programs for keyboard .. and programming of the keys.
I'm not so sure the keyboard hasn't had something spilt onto it?
Looks to me like a busted keyboard. The keys are on a matrix, and it seems to be sending from both the pressed key and the adjacent one in the matrix.

Try another keyboard, you can get one for the price of a coffee. http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.202-6002.aspx

Thanks everyone for the advice. It turns out that last nighti messed about with the settings etc and switched it off in pure frustration. It appears that My darling child had inadvertently opened a box that you change the key settings so he had substituted the numbers with other numbers etc..Maybe he is gonna be a computing genius.. I put it back on today and all is good and working as it should be. Here's hoping it lasts.. Amazing..lol.x
Opened a box?
