I am trying to list something on eBay but keep getting this appear which stops me completing the listing...

Description - Your listing cannot contain javascript (".cookie", "cookie(", "replace(", IFRAME, META, or includes), cookies or base href.

I've never had this appear before... any ideas ?

If you did as Trimeresurus described about cutting and pasting from another site or even from within Ebay, simply cut and paste again, except this time paste it into your word processing program and the cut yet again and paste it into Ebay...

I have a number of the same items to sell... and I made the listing a few weeks ago...it was all my own, including the pictures.
Having found it quite successful, I just select..'sell similar'.. from the drop down list, and then re-list it.
All was going well, and then all of a sudden I started getting this warning about javascript.
I have done as you said and cut and pasted the listing to 'word'. I then deleted the original listing on eBay..Reloaded the photos and cut and pasted the listing.
Have relisted the whole thing and we are up and running again.
Many thanks for your help ... can't miss this weekend on eBay as it's free listing.
Give eBay a ring, alavahalf - they are quite helpful. (I know what you mean, I am listing too, but I've not had any strange messages!)
