"Free" phone

Can I buy a free mobile phone without contract in England - could I put in my Spanish Sim card and have it working normally in Spain on my Spanish company Moviestar?

I can tell you that a friend of mine came over here from Spain and they put in my vodaphone sim card into their spanish phone and it worked.  Hope this helps

Yes it will work that way too (UK phone Moviestar network)...I go to Spain 2-3 times a year and I have 2 sim cards.
